Dj Bounce  has always been around music. Growing up in Blue Island, IL, an environment where music was heard from morning till night, Bounce became exposed to a wide variety of generes  from Hip Hop to Rock, Spanish to Reggae and 60’s to 90’s music. 70’s soul especially played a big role in his upbringings as his father played it often. 

Bounce learned how to please a crowd from his father. Whenever there was a house party for family and friends his father would be in total control of the music. He knew what song to play at the right moment and how to take the vibe to the next level.

Bounce didn't officially get into the dj game until 1997. After becoming an avid listener of freestyle music and listening to many mixes created by local Chicago djs, Bounce became intrigued by the art of mixing and knew right away that djing was something that he wanted to pursue. He worked at a restaurant 5 days a week after school in order to save up and purchase equipment.

After Bounce was set with equipment, he began to practice by taking what he learned through various mixtapes that he'd listened to and applying it to his own set. He would lock himself in his room and practice for hours, making sure his mixes would tell a story and be clean & precise. 

 In 1999, Bounce moved to North Miami, FL to attend Barry University. He became roomates with a Hip Hop dj from New York  in addition to 4 other dorm mates from the Islands, whom broadened his knowledge in Hip Hop and Reggae. Bounce continued to create mixtapes throughout the next four years. 

After graduating from Barry University in 2003, Bounce took a brief break from djing and moved to South Beach where he began to hit the club scene and listen to the hottest djs out at the time. In 2005, Bounce attended the Scratch Academy in South Beach to regain and tighten up on his skills. 

In 2007, Bounce began performing at local clubs and corporate events in South Beach and around Miami. He eventually gained sponsorships from Barcardi, Monster Energy and Addias.

In 2009, Bounce began traveling to venues across the country such as Underbar (New York), Lumen (Chicago) and Hardrock Hotel (Las Vegas). In addition, he became part of an elite group of Video Djs in Miami, FL that perform live video mixing at upscale venues.

In 2010 and 2011, Bounce gain residenices at LIV Nightclub (Miami), Boardroom (Chicago), Roosevelt Room (Toronto) and Blue Martini (Miami).

Currently Bounce is in high demand in the Miami night life scene as well as across the country. You can see his live ‘open format’ performance at hot spots throughout South Florida, Las Vegas, Chicago and New York .
